Revealing Top 7 Best Cadet colleges of Pakistan

 Cadet colleges in Pakistan have recently assumed a pivotal role in re-shaping the out look of our younger generations in post 9/11 anti terror war to determine the future of Pakistan. By providing a holistic education that combines academic, physical fitness , discipline and character development. These colleges have a structured environment. The goal of cadet colleges is to instill values like integrity, discipline, teamwork and resilience in cadets. Cadet colleges in Pakistan have a strong network and alumni base which provide equal valuable opportunities to cadets in terms of mentorship, career guidance and professional connections. Each institution has its unique offerings and rich legacies, contributing to the nation’ educational landscape . There are currently around 50+ cadet colleges in Pakistan, spread across different provinces of the country. I have enlisted about 7 cadet colleges including three military colleges in the top ranking of cadet colleges around the country that contribute to the overall development of the younger generation of the country with a strong reputation and resolve for academic excellence, military training and character development. 




Cadet College Hasan Abdal is the most renowned and prestigious cadet college in Pakistan, located in the town of Hasan Abdal, Punjab.The college has a rich history dating back to it’s establishment in 1952. The college provides conducive learning environment with modern facilities including science and computer labs and sport facilities. The college offers education from grade 8th up to 12th  , following the Cambridge International Examination (CIE) curriculum. The per month fee of Cadet college Hassan Abdal is PKR 83000/-for class 8th to 10th and   PKR 93000/-for grade 11th to 12th

3) Military College Murree

Located in the picturesque hill station of Murree, it offers a unique learning experience in a natural beautiful setting. It was established in 2002 with the aim of providing a quality education and character development to young students. The college has gained a reputation for it’s academic excellence, disciplined environment and focus on overall personality development. There are a variety of extracurricular activities like sports, debate and public speaking competitions and cultural events etc. with the aim to develop their physical fitness, leadership skills and overall personality. Cadet College Murree provides education from grade 6th up to  grade 12th . The per month fee of Cadet college Murree is PKR 50,000 for 6th to 8th and PKR 60,000 for grade 9th up to 12th .

4) Military College Jhelum

Military College Jhelum was  established in 1922 as a military school and has since evolved into a prestigious cadet college. The college divided into Prep  (Class VI- VIII),  Senior School (Class IX-X), and College Wing (Class XI-XII). The college prepares students for the Matric and Intermediate examination under the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Rawalpindi. The college offers a wide range of extracurricular activities to foster holistic development. The college also emphasizes outdoor activities like camping, hiking and rock The Per month fee of Cadet college Jhelum is PKR 34,000/-.


5) Military College Sui

Military College Sui Balochistan (MCSB) is a military academy located in Sui, Balochistan, Pakistan. Cadet College Larkana



The Cadet College Larkana is located in the city of Larkana, Pakistan, about 3 kilometers from the ancient site of Mohenjo-daro and 24 kilometers from Larkana town. It is close to Mohenjo-daro airport and railway station, and is situated in a peaceful environment that is conducive to learning. The college was originally planned in 1975, but due to political issues, it was not built until 1988. It officially opened in 1994 and is run by a Captain or Major from the Pakistani Army, who is responsible for extracurricular activities, discipline, and career counseling for the students. The college aims to prepare its students for careers in tri services and civil services of Pakistan. 


Cadet College Petaro was established in 1957 and later moved to its current location in Petaro in 1959. It provides education for students in grades 7-12, as well as preparatory courses for the Cambridge International Examinations. The college's mission is to provide quality education and training that helps students develop strong character, leadership skills, and a sense of patriotism. 

I felt it would be unjustified to rank all other cadet without proper reaserch based knowledge hence this research study is aimed at generating a discussion to find and evaluate facts. It is going to be a continuous process.  Suggestions and comments are most welcome.
